He plans to build a fully working touring race car out of the standard road production car, in time for the national touring car championship race at Silverstone raceway in Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. Stuart lives on a farm in the Hertfordshire countryside with his parents David and Abigail, along with his younger brother called Edward. David Robson runs a local transport company called Robson Transport Limited, basing himself in the nearby town a few miles away from the Robson farm. But whilst Stuart works on his wonder machine, which has been christened ‘Thunderbolt’; Stuart hits an obstacle that he never expected to come across. He unexpected, though he doesn’t fully know it because of his Asperger’s, has fallen in love.
